Ever since hearing the early records of Helmet, the founding members of Kill.caress wanted to put out, musicwise, the similar harsh, noisy, stuff their heroes did. Just able to play their instruments right, they immediately began to write their own songs. These songs already (in lesser weight then they do now) contained the staccato riffs and dark open atmospherical parts that they still handle today. Since departures of a founding guitar player and a singer, and having new members replacing them, Kill.caress not just continued, but expanded their blue-print of heavy music. People outside Kill.caress began to notice the band because of their unexpected approach to heavy music. This led them to record their fist c.d. "Armour" in 2001, two songs on "Introducing the new heaviness" compilation from Aphex in 2004, one song on "We will be heard" compilation from Mushroom cloud records USA also in 2004, and sharing the stages with different acts like: At the drive-in, Catharsis, Deviate, Mastodon, Buried inside, etc. Asking people about the band live, they will answer.... A thick wall of sound, tight and massive. The band is planning to record their new full-length very soon, since a ton of new material has been written.
